Our story is one that began from having experienced, first-hand, the financial boom and extravagance of the world of fossil fuels; and being flabbergasted as that world turned on its head.
Moving well beyond the cliched tales of booms and busts, ours really is a story you want to hear!
Because you see, there are perks that come with first-hand experiences. By ‘first-hand’, we mean putting our ears and eyes to the ground as we watched and listened, time spent onsite observing complexities, problems and inefficiencies. We became masters at role-playing and consistently asked ourselves in every situation our clients faced, what was within our control and what we would have done differently.
Then it happened… somewhere in between the chatter of our clients, their critical requirements, our own observations of the gaps, limitations, inconsistencies, advantages, and contingencies available, we slowly and steadily started to piece together what was showing up to be a game-changer. We learnt that although teams had firm and SME approved process flows, there were still data silos, collaboration gaps, and they lacked the ability to update and standardize their work processes.
So…we started listing out everything we had and everything we needed in terms of features and functionalities, comprising the ‘great to haves’, ‘must haves’, ‘how can we not have?’, ‘nice but hmm’, and the ‘hey! why not have?’ Like all good builders, we ran many a fact-finding exercise to scrub our lists and got to work laying the groundwork starting at the most obvious (sometimes daunting) solutions.
